Located in the hills above Canet-en-Roussillon, Château de Rey overlooks the Mediterranean from its terraces of rounded pebbles, typical of the Catalan terroir. Philippe and Cathy Sisqueille perpetuate a family tradition rooted in respect for the environment and the expression of the fruit. Among vineyards and olive groves, the estate crafts wines of character, marked by the freshness of the sea and the power of the sun. From deep reds to mineral whites, each vintage is an invitation to discover the authentic soul of the Roussillon coast.

Sainte Marie de la mer

It is in the heart of the Riberal region, in the garrigue of Pezilla la Rivière and in the Salanque area, that Jany and Jean-Marc Salellas have invested in the family land to plant 8 hectares of olive trees.

This adventure began in 2005 when they decided to perpetuate the agricultural tradition deeply rooted in their family, restoring the land to its agricultural purpose and thus contributing to its development.

They wanted to reintroduce Roussillon varieties such as Olivière, Verdale, Courbeil, and Arbequina, perfectly suited to the schist and clay-limestone soils of this terroir, to produce extra virgin olive oils and flavorful table olives. Their Canigou black truffle olive oil, produced in their cellar, delights gourmets and enhances the flavor of their dishes.

The diverse aromas and controlled peppery notes of these olive oils make them exceptional products, where tradition and authenticity are cultivated by these passionate olive growers.

Jean-Marc, who runs the estate, will welcome you to the olive oil cellar to share his passion and offer you a tasting of his olive oils, whose artisanal production attests to the authenticity of the products.

A family estate on the outskirts of Perpignan, Rière Cadène is one of the last vineyards where the city still touches the vines. Passed down for more than four generations, the estate covers 26 hectares, farmed organically. Jean-François and Laurence established the estate in 1994. Muscat, Grenache, Syrah, and Macabeu blend to create aromatic, refined, and elegant wines; from Côtes du Roussillon to the naturally sweet wines that define the richness of the Catalan terroir.

Nestled between the Mediterranean and the Albères mountains, Domaine de la Mer Blanche is an open-air garden where lemon, orange, yuzu, and kumquat trees have been organically grown since 2014. From this harvest come limoncello, citrus liqueurs, fruit juices, and olive oil that capture the essence of the Roussillon sun. An agroforestry approach, artisanal expertise, and exceptional products.

Soulatge

Goat farm located in Soulatge in the Hautes Corbières region of the Aude department. Anila Shallari and Jérémie Parnaudeau are goat farmers specializing in the production of farm-made, raw milk goat cheeses.

The farm is run organically, and the goats graze outdoors amidst the garrigue scrubland. Anila and Jérémie also offer fresh eggs.

The dairy products are available in various stages of aging and sold in different formats (Pélardon, Tomme, Bleu, Camembert, Faisselle, etc.).

Finally, a stall is set up every Wednesday at the Soulatge market, where those with a sweet tooth will surely be tempted by some delicious homemade ice cream.
